Yes! They absolutely should make their app work the way that it should. If they're going to post movies on an iPad app, the movies should be viewable by those individuals that are accessing the app with iPads. In case you're wondering, this is NOT sarcasm.
Yeah! If they can deploy CNN in nearly every airport in the world, darn it they can make an app that works!

May be difficult to get the apps developed by all using flash. (CNN app is the solution given by someone, to circumvent the flash issue faced on CNN website on ipad so actual issue is sidelined and app issue has taken over)
This thread went off track a long time ago. There are 90+ posts and the bottom line is still that iPad does not support flash. There is no point to keeping the thread on topic any longer. The question was asked and answered in the first few posts, and many hundreds of times in other posts. So relax and enjoy the banter in the thread.
However, there are options. Not very good options but options nevertheless. There is very definitely a need for threads like this because the option that helps one user may well be totally different from the option that helps another user.

There are many websites that are not allowing me to get in and not finding any alternative.

What websites, many is hardly informative.
I will get that list soon. It has become seemingly ubiquitous part of our everyday internet life, I think and probably wrongly assumed all feel the same.
Or probaly, Adobe itself should have made an app that meets apple security and other quality standards, to support it and marketted. I will suggest this to my friends in Adobe to check the feasibility.

Then I will assist, soon.
This is your example of "many sites", it looks like a corporate VPN portal
If this is important you should buy a different tablet as the iPad is not compatible.
It seems you are very knowledgeable in iPad usage. I have another issue not related to this thread. I am looking for a way to play m2ts files created by sony HD camera. Do you have any suggestions to import them on iPad and play them on iPad.
cadence.com appears to be written using asp.net. There are MS IE specific controls such as ActiveX used in the site. In addition, Flash is used on the home page, I did not check other pages.
It is no wonder the site does not work from an iPad. If the site wants to use proprietary controls that are not universally supported then they have to expect that some users will not be able to access their site. I'm sure they considered this when they created the site.
Check with Sony to see if they offer any apps or conversion programs, I don't have a Sony camera so can't help.
But I like iPad and other tablets may not have many features that iPad has. I will keep sending the websites to you as you are kind enough to help out. Since it is very late for me now, I am unable to send the list. No need to be sarcastic for not being able to send you a big list at this point of time. As and when I face the problem I will send. I have memory problem and unable to recall the urls. It is not feasible to buy a tablet for each feature. I have a laptop that does everything. We r only discussing the possibilities and work arounds and any apps etc to make iPad experience great and not here to fight with each other.
I'll keep it simple
There is no Flash for iPad, if you need to login to that VPN for business you will not be able to, I can offer no further assistance unless you understand that.
That's not a banking/finance site. It's a manufacturer.
"Is there any work around to login to the websites that use flash? Many finance/banks and some services sites use the flash and we can't use/login to those sites."
Major hacks are required...
And I agree with Meg, I would never install Flash on iOS. In fact, I haven't even used used Flash on my Mac in a long time.
Just a comment rather than a solution - I bought my IPad to have email and Internet access while traveling. if I had known the percentage of sites that would not display or the difficulties I would have with email on this device I never would have purchased it. Maybe half the time I find myself going to the hotel lobby to read my email because I can't get the IPad to work. Some WiFi networks work fine, others won't work partially or totally. (Starbucks always seems to work - is this some evil plot to get me to buy a lot of $4 coffees Hee Hee!.)
The failure to display Internet sites because of no Flash support is very frustrating. I admit that I'm not the most sophisticated user in the community and that I didn't do my homework before buying this thing but I relied on Apple to provide a fully functional device. That was a mistake and I've revised my opinion of the company because of this experience.
