That is certainly possible. Keep checking with Find my Mac and see if it shows up. Of course I don't exactly know what you could do if it did. Location services isn't 100% accurate, so it could be anywhere on a city block. Not sure how you could pinpoint it.

My advise is to make a police report and call your insurance company.

Good news, my MacBook pro showed up!!

Problem is, that it was a row of houses. Couldn't exactly pinpoint it. Asked around but nobody said they had it. Is there a way to locate the address

Again, not sure what you can do about it. The police most likely won't do anything either. The location just isn't exact enough and it oviously isn't enough of a priority for the cops to start busting down doors. Its frustrating, but thats just the way it goes.
