Can't activate my ipad

Hi guys,


I've been trying to activate my ipad for days but itunes keeps showing the message "we are sorry, but we are unable to cotinue with your activation at this time, please try again later". I've tried everything including restore the ipad, uninstall and reinstall itunes, and power off the ipad, but nothing changes. Anyone with similar issues or solutions? Any help will be appreciated!

I'm no expert and I've never seen your issue on the discussion site before but have you tried a hard reset on the iPad and then try to activate again?


Hold down on the sleep button and the home button at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears, let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. Reboot your computer as well then try to activate again. The hard reset cures a multitude of minor issues on the iPad once it is up and running but I'm not sure if it would do any good in your case.

Hi, I also having same problem as Lucy, after hard reset, i cannot activate my ipad, i reinstalled itunes, and connect my ipad to itune but received " 'We are unable to continue with your activation at this time..". and Ipad automatically turn off , and then turn on again..it repeat again and again. please help to solve this problem. thanks.

Would be interested in what Apple have to say as i have the same problem. Have tried to restore several times but still get the 'we're sorry we are unable to continue with your activation at this time message and iPAD just has the connect to iTunes screen. Seems like it has just happened in last few days judging from the dates of the posts. I'm in Australia so happening here too
