Will the iPad ever get flash support?

I find many web sites using flash components and I am unable to use these sites. Many videos will not play and Facebook uses a flash control to upload photos to your wall so I can not even upload photos I have on my iPad through Facebook. I can go to my photo and push it to Facebook but you can not leave a comment by doing it this was or at least I see on obvious way to do this. I will have to say I am very dissatisfied with my iPad 2 because of this. Playing videos is one of Apples Bragging points yet a lot of the web sites I visit I can not watch the videos from my iPad.

People by nature love to build themselves up by putting things down.

This Flash issue is no exception, Flash is a huge platform installed on over 1.8 billion devices and 97% of all internet connected devices(including mobile).

So I can see the ego boost one would recieve by putting it down.

Thos who can't create, or perform, can feel as equally talented by sending such creative performers into the trash can. To be able to refference software developers who posses decades of experience as "lazy" or "incompetent" can have the positive effect of making the "name caller" feel as smart/important/knowledgeable as the one they are bashing.

We all know this, and this is what has become. You're now "cool" to say things like "that business man walking down the street has no idea how he is robbing the world of freedom due to his greed, he walks around oblivious to the machine" or "i'm the 99%".

But we all know in reality we'd much rather be that business man, or the 1%, but we can't so as a way to boost our ego we attack them, and use it as a way to actually present oursleves in a better light than them.

It's a sick mindset bread by underachieving entitled people. And it's very alive and well in this Flash debate.

I simply post the link from Apple explaining their position, and the link from Adobe explaining the shift to HTML5 for mobile. Those are the 2 players. I have no control, I simply educate on their position. What I say makes no difference. I can and sometimes do provide my opinion from the perspective of a business owner about why their positions make technical sense. It is my opinion, although I do tend to agree with Apple, Adobe, Microsoft, and Google on HTML5.

This is just a general reply, but the no Flash issue, at least for me, is mostly a non-event.

Problem is that some sites that I access are still being stubborn and continue to use Flash or not make their content easy to access on any mobile device. This is more true of Apple's iOS devices.

One site the irks me to death is one of the major network sites like CBS.com.

One of my favorite CBS programs is The Big Bang Theory.

I stream all of my network, video and movie content tomy iPad and through my iPad to my TV.

CBS is still one of the networks that is still being resistant to allowing mobile device streaming of their content and uses Flash to limit their streaming content to full desktop/laptop computers.

Why?

Laptops are mobile, too!

Jeez, all of the other network websites and even Hulu, are still running advertising. So, what's the problem? Why won't sites with Flash based content switch to HTML 5 to use as the container for the video or other streaming content? What are they concerned or worried about? They would still be getting the same revenue outlets they have been using for years that cover much of the content costs.

Just had to vent as there is no good reason that major websites can't convert to some other video streaming format container to showcase their programming.

Does anyone know if Google stop updating all of the YouTube content to HTML 5 to acceess all of the content there? I have run into more recent YouTube videos that won't play on my iPad , either.

Is this in response to all of the problems between Apple and Google?

Google is only doing more damage to themselves by not having their content accessible to all hardware platforms.Mobile or not.
