Will the iPad ever get flash support?

I find many web sites using flash components and I am unable to use these sites. Many videos will not play and Facebook uses a flash control to upload photos to your wall so I can not even upload photos I have on my iPad through Facebook. I can go to my photo and push it to Facebook but you can not leave a comment by doing it this was or at least I see on obvious way to do this. I will have to say I am very dissatisfied with my iPad 2 because of this. Playing videos is one of Apples Bragging points yet a lot of the web sites I visit I can not watch the videos from my iPad.

Return your iPad if lack of flash is so bothersome.

Adobe realized they could not meet Steve Jobs demands for a version of flash that worked up to Apple's standard and they have given up.

So no, flash is not coming.

I did not say anything about returning my iPad I simply said I was dissatisfied with the fact that several web sites I read Use flash and I can not take full advantage of these sites.

When you reply to someone's question you do not have to be such a ***** about it just do not reply.

Lack of flash is very restricting I'm holding off ordering the iPad 2 for all my staff, we are a Mac office and have been since 96. But our software for clients uses flash and with out support on the iPads I'm considering the new blackberry. Come on apple I really don't want to go down that road.

Check with Adobe if you want to know how long of a wait your in for with that decision.

I would strongly recommend you don't hold your breath. the latest word I read from Adobe was that it was taking way more resources to fix Flash for iOS then they are willing to expend. So it could be like forever.

It is not Apple you should be complaining to but Adobe.

Flash is not coming to iOS.

Better hurry and get those blackberries while RIM is still in business, seems they are going the palm route.

I gaze into my crystal apple and see Flash being supported in April of 2014. Let's all hope it is sooner, though.

I think a better question is, when will the web switch to html5? Everyones down on apple, when they just want people to switch to something better.
