Just to Underscore the most likely fix for the Facetime icon not showing in the settings list, you probably have Facetime restrictied. To get it to show up in your Settings list

  • Go to Settings -> General -> Restrictions (use your unlock code to get in)
  • Look for Facetime and Allow it (slide button to the right)
  • Go back to the main settings page (two steps) and Facetime should appear under Phone and Messages

Not applicable for phones purchased in the Middle East

Thank You HDR Austin!

This phone was bought in Kuwait by a friend (they paid almost the same as here) and I didnt know they had no FaceTime but someone recently told me if I updated to OS7 then I will get it!
I updated my iphone4 to OS7 and I still dont see it.

OS7x (I got 1 patch so far) is sluggish but it looks good.in fact as everyone knows it makes your phone or pad look totally different but for some reason it has made my phone so slow and the reaction time is not as fast as before?!

For instance sometimes when I try to put in my 4-digit code to get in, it blacks out (goes to scrn saver)? which is funny cuz I am touching th scrn but when it decided to do somethig it will do it no matter what else is going on!

The battery indicator is also wrong or acts strange? anyway...

:-)
