Brown box units

Are they refurbished or they are brand new?

I understand why they use a plain box, however it should be a new unit in the box.

If I was giving a refurb it would be to people who have caused the problem themselves.

An exchange under warranty remains under the same warranty as the original purchase.

Well yeah, the lines disappear after it but it happens every time when the iPad wakes up from sleep.
