After iphone 4 4.3.3 update wifi not working

My iphone 4 been running on 4.3.1 smoothly until I upgraded my software to 4.3.3 this week.

I cannot connect to my wifi(apple timecapsule) all my other devices still running 4.3.1 can connect.

Reading the forums, I did the following.

1. Reset all network settings-did not work

2. Hard reset-did not work

3. Restore and setup new phone without restoring backup to 4.3.3-did not work

4. Trying to downgrade to 4.3.1 did not work as itunes ays that its not eligalbe for this build after going into DFU mode.

The bad for me is I never jailbreak any device and still going a legit route i now only have a 3G working.

Is this a confirmed bug?

If anyone has the same issue but solved let me know.

Same problem on my 3GS, since the update to 4.3.3 it barely gets my home wifi signal (all other devices are fine) and it can't see any other wifi networks, meaning I have to stick to 3G everywhere but at home.

I did hard resets, factory restores, restore from backup... no chance. I wish I could downgrade to 4.2.1, which was stable, fast and had great battery life. iOS 4.3.x is a piece of crap, it slowed down my phone so much it's atrocious. It can take up to a minute just to open the Camera app!

see this, its about Princeton Uni's findings to do with IOS devices and their wireless connections..

I have also found that I have fixed some wireless problems by turning off my bluetooth, mainly personal hotspot problems. But I have also suffered from frequent disconnects from my router, with the bluetooth on.

hi .. i am having iphone 4s . Having exact same wifi issue as yours. It started with ios 6.1.2 update and still its on even in ios 6.1.3. Done everything hard reset , restore phone from itunes as new iphone.. etc.

How did you get your problem solved ? Does the new updates solve the issues ? or its a hardware related problem..

Hi

I couldnt get it to work, the updates didnt resolve the wi fi issues I was experiencing and I had to minimise my use of my iphone as a result. Its a hardware related issue and I think Apple are not interested in fixing it. I am looking in to buying a Samsung in the future perhaps they will look after their customers better !
