When I check settings, my correct apple ID shows. But when I do an "update apps", the wrong apple ID shows up, with only the password box available for input. What to do?

That would be great @BrittBaby47 if you could actually delete an app. But with all of Apple's brilliant recent updates, deleting is absolutely impossible!!!!
Deleting an app is not impossible, and how to delete them hasn't changed. If you can't delete apps have you checked your Restrictions ?

Have had Apple for several years as their ecosystem made life easier. It is now opposite.
It no longer makes sense to use Apple products when they do not provide The benefits that warranted the cost.
