Why so many people do not take iPad seriously?
When I was about to buy my first iPad, a great number of my friends said, "don't waste your money" or "iPad is just a bigger iPod...it's a waste". Even though the iPad 2 came out, most of them still think the same way. When i was "researching" the idea of buying an ipad many people on the web seemed to be sceptic about it as well. Personally I enjoy the iPad and I love it's productivity. I do my school work on it, watch movies, show presentations, email, use social media etc. In my opinion, some of you may disagree, even flash doesn't play such a big role in ipad's performance anymore. So why people do not take iPad seriously? In my opinion it's the interface. By interface I mean the home screen, the lock screen etc. When people see the same interface for the iPad as for the iPod, they immediately associate it with a toy and not the tool of productivity. No matter what the marketing guys will say about the iPad people still will think it's an expensive toy until they actually try it. So, what do you think?
