Don't need download anything. You can transfer notes from iPhone to PC by using iCloud. Apple’s iCloud provides a fast way to transfer notes from your iPhone to a Window PC. Here are detailed steps about how to transfer notes from your iPhone to computer.

1. Go to Settings > iCloud on iPhone, and then sign in the iCloud.

2. Turn “Notes” on and then iCloud will automatically upload them to the cloud service.

3. Install iCloud on your PC and enter the same Apple ID to enter it, and then you can get the notes on your computer.

Howard is mistaken, iCloud does not sync notes to a PC and never has. You can, however, access your iCloud notes from your PC via iCloud.com (i.e. your web browser). You can sync notes through iTunes, although I hear that syncing notes to Outlook through iTunes is broken (I can't confirm this myself).

Maybe explain your exact situation (PC or Mac? Computer's OS and version? Are you trying to sync notes to an email account, or literally a notes document on your computer?)

I see this was posted years ago but it appears the conversation is still going w/o much resolution....

  • Plug iphone into computer w/ USB.
  • itunes will open
  • Click on the iphone icon (currently in the upper left area of the tool bar)
  • Select "info" from the options on the left hand column
  • Scroll down to "other"
  • Select sync notes with and choose outlook, click apply in the bottom right

    - NOTE: if you already have notes saved to the account you are syncing with it may ask if you want to merge or replace - select MERGE.

  • Open outlook
  • Scroll down to the Notes icon in the bottom left hand corner and select the notes icon (if you have an older version of windows you can find it inthe far left yellow box of the three small icons on the bottom of the column - if you have a newer version click on the three dots in the bottom left hand corner)
  • Your iphone notes will be there
  • Click on the note, SAVE AS - RICH TEXT FORMAT and save to desktop or your chosen file. Unfortunately you cannot select multiple files and save as rich text so i suggest that you download your notes regularly. If you select multiple and try to save they will only save as "text only" files which you can only open as a note.
  • When you open the rich text file you saved it will open in a word document.

Hope this helps!

Best,

S

hi, this worked for some of my notes but not for all. The notes that saved were my really old notes and not the new ones. Could it e anything to do with the fact that I started sharing my notes over iCloud a while back? i really really want to save my new notes onto my PC and into Word and i just can't seem to find a way to do this 😟

Yes it's true that if you didn't set up ICLOUD Notes sync before creating your first notes on our iPhone, these notes will remain on your iPhone but what I did and worked is after setting an ICLOUD account you can go to your notes on your iPhone and click "Edit"(right side top) then click "Move all" (left side down) and then choose "Notes" Under ICLOUD in your iPhone and all your previous Notes will move to ICLOUD notes on your iPhone, hope this help.

I tried what Amestris offered above but the only choice I found after clicking "Edit" was Delete. This is on a 4s running iOS 9.3.5. I have 39 notes "On my iPhone" and a bunch more in iCloud. I know I could cut and paste the local notes into new notes I would create backed up to iCloud but I would like to preserve the dates of the last edits if possible. I plan to upgrade to a new iPhone soon and this is one of the few questions I have about Backup and Restore. If I back up the 4s to iTunes on my MacBook will the local notes be included in the backup?
