Error 1004 iOS 4.3.3 downloading App Store

Hi,

I'm getting the same problem.

Can you try viewing your Apple Account (via your iTunes App or your App Store App on your iPhone) and see what happens?

Mine repeatedly asks for the password over and over (even though i'm putting it in correctly). Would be good to know if you're having the same issue.

Good to know we both have exactly the same problem.

In my other thread someone suggested going onto iTunes on the PC, removing my credit card details (setting to 'none') and then re-adding.

Going to try it tomorrow when back in front of PC.

If you're near your PC can you try it?

I've tried resetting the card payment info as recommended, but it's not fixed anything for me. 😟

Having exactly the same problem. Can't download any new apps or even update existing ones. Get the 1004 error. Tried restoring my phone but didn't fix it. So frustrating!

Does this also happen when connected to 3G?

If it only happens when connected to your wi-fi/wired network it may be a sign that you modem is packing up causing downloads with corrupted verification codes.

For me, it's happens exactly the same over 3G as it does over Wi-Fi (and i've also tried multiple locations and hot-spots).

I'm adamant it's a corruption of my Apple ID or something.

It's the same for me here in Spain, also over 3G and wifi, but i don't think it's related with my Apple I'd as it let's me buy apps from my laptop without any problems.

Could it be related to any kind of baseband authentication as this update was preventing security breaches (Aka Jailbreak)?

It's a pain in the *** that we can't download apps, as I've been traveling without laptop and I couldn't do anything about it >:-(

I hope Apple answers soon, what a ****** update 4.3.3 was.

Sorry yeah, I meant corruption of my Apple ID when accessing it from my iPhone.

My Apple ID works fine on my PC and like you, I can download from iTunes and load by syncing with no problems.

try changing from 12 hour clock to the 24 hour clock. Then I was able to update one app. So, I decided to try another update. Error 1004. Then change it back from 24 to 12 hour clock for the next app to be updated

i am having the same problems, it cannot update or download any app from my iphone with an error 1004, but I can do so in my laptop. When I view my apple ID account in the iphone, it keep asking me to input my password and apple ID, even though i am inputing the correct one.. is this a new Bug from apple can someone please HELP!!!

I second this - can't view my apple Id either - keeps asking for my password.

Changing the clock doesn't help in my case either!
