How do you unsubscribe from the New Yorker
Subscribing seems to be easy enough but how do you unsubscribe. Their website suggests the only way is to call some phone number. Is this correct?

I finally got an email from a New Yorker 'affiliate' with an answer. It's not too bad now that I know what to do. From iTunes go to View My Account, there was a manage app subscription button, clicking that got me to a page where I could turn off auto-renewal. Hopefully that will work and the subscription will expire at the end of the four issues.
If the Manage App Subscription doesn't work, you can also go to the Itunes app, click Account, or Apple ID, click manage subscriptions, and from there you can see all the subscriptions you sign up for on Apple devices. That's how I finally unsubscribed from this.
I posted this message a few minutes ago and I almost immediately received a reply by email 'Throw away your ipad, that'll work.' which hasn't shown up (yet) in the discussion. Seems a little strange?
I wish I could help you, but I would suggest you do call the number and ask.
I subscribed through the (free) New Yorker app from the iPhone App Store. Silly me, I thought there would be a way to unsubscribe via the app. ;-)
Don't beat yourself up. They don't want to make it that easy to get out of a subscription........
Thanks for following up with this post, I couldn't figure out how to unsubscribe from the New Yorker iPad application either!
This helped!
