my iphone battery won't charge

When I plug my phone in (when flat) - it get just enough power to turn itself on but that is it.

Computer wont recognise until flat agian.

Any help pls?

I worked mine out - in case this can help someone else:

I have recentley refreshed my PC and needed to restore some drivers.

May be worth checking the plug/USB combo works.

Easy to fix,

I had the issue of phone being dead and not charging, but found the cure without leaving my office or spending money!

There is only one free way to fix the problem of iphone not charging and that is the following quick and easy steps.

1. Download itunes to any computer

2. connect your cable to the computer (but do not connect the phone)

3. Turn your phone in to refresh state. " Press the sleep button on the top and at the same time press the button on the front, home button".

4. NOW, "HOLDING down the button on the front connect your phone, do not let go of the home button, until after you have connected the phone

5. Do nothing and leave the phone, after a while, normal 20 minutes you will get a message saying "cannot connect to your iphone as it requires the passcode" (this message you will only get if you have a passcode set)

6. check your phone and you will see SUDDENLY it is alive and 11% charged and is now working normal.

If you have the same problem again you will need to restore the phone, to do that, follow the steps above and once your phone comes alive repeat step 4 above, and follow the steps in this apple link below.

Same issue as above! I ve updated a few days ago and since then it started to play up and started to show following error: iPhone doesn't support this accessory! Now it doesn't recognize any charger at all. Provider cant help me, his seriously ***!

I am having the same issue. I thought it was my cable or my plugs. I have tried everything. The only way mine will charge is if I power it all the way down. When I turn it on it says 100% within 20 minutes it says 98%. It won't charge if the power is on. I don't know why it is doing this. It started just a few weeks ago after a camping trip when I left it powered down all weekend. It's like it went into shock. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I have to wait until Nov 1 for the upgrade to kick in but may have to do a replacement if this keeps happening.😢

OK Brad, I did this, when, it when from 95% to 91% in a flash! 😕
