Can I use my Droid phone to find my iPad 2?

I just used the photon app on my android mobile device in the flash mode and it logged onto my icloud acct and it located my phone

Search for 'photon' shows 'photon browser'. After clicking, top of the listing are Firefox and Dolphin, but no sign of Photon. I went as far as #200!

Use Iphone Locator ( or find my iphone free via icloud),

search for them in googleplay, work for me, using android 4.3

Following your instructions I accessed Icloud.com/find on my LG tmobile phone, but the location was not accurate - about a half a mile off. Not useful. Also I could not access the controls to lock my Ipad or set off the alarm.

The location is what your iOS device is supplying. It can take 12.5 minutes to get an accurate GPS fix, so you can only wait & hope the device has GPS reception, otherwise wifi & cellular based locations are used (which are less accurate).

I suggest you complain to Apple for the lack of support for the lock & other features via the web interface.
