iCal syncs between mobileme and iphone and ipad but not on my Mac. Help?

Since subscribing to Mobile.me after being convinced it would seamless allow information to be shared across all devices, I have had no end of trouble.

The latest is that events entered or amended on the iphone 4 will sync with Mobile.me and with the ipad but not with iCal on the computer.

How hard can it be?

Help! I waste hours everyday checking all my events are appearing on all devices and manually changing each device.

Anyone else experiencing problems?

I am thinking it might be better to get rid of Mobile.me and see if there is another way of all devices talking to one another.

Having same issue. I did a "refresh all", didn't work and "deleting MobileMe account and adding it back to iCal. Problem unresolved.........any thoughts or ideas???

Jim, try quiting iCal completely and restarting, by this I mean choose iCal from menu bar and quit iCal option. When it restarts it should pick up new iCal account, also make sure the timer is set at 5 minutes as a minimum for some reason if set less it does not update. Have found that the timer is a bit flakey did a update from iphone yesterday and it took some 10 minutes to populate across mobile me to other iphones but this was using a 3g connection. Maybe getting too used to high speed wifi connections and expectations are for every thing to happen instantly
