delete wrong apple ID from the appstore login

Problem solved for me :)

What i did was delete that app and download again. Apparently it was because the app was downloaded with different id previously.

Right - that is the solution that has been repeated in this thread since the first page.

Yup... The big question is ::: If you have some 30 apps how do you know which one or ones that are assigned to what ID's?

Hi Tommy, I don't really check on that, in fact I don't really need to know, until like authorisations is needed. Sorry I probably didn't solve your question, but this is how i do..

If you have iTunes on a computer that you have sync'd with (so the apps on your device are listed in the Library for Apps), you can click on the App, then press the Command+I keys, and the click on the file tab to show which ID purchased the app:

Select the app, as I did with Brushes above, and press Command + I to get this screen:

Still ******* happening in 2016, smh come on Apple get your **** together. I had a 2nd Apple ID and I pressed sign out and now it completely just stayed on there for updates, guess I'll have old apps forever (((((:

Apple are not here, these are user-to-user forums. Anything that you download from the iTunes stores is permanently tied (licensed) to the account that downloaded it - if you want your apps linked to a different account you will have to delete and buy and download them on that account

These are apps which have been downloaded by someone else. Delete them and download them with your own ID, they can not be transferred to yours otherwise.

No. This is a kluge; not an answer, fix, or solution. The iOS devices have no internal method to determine which apps are associated with which account, or allow you uninstall/replace those unassociated apps aside from doing it one at a time. That, to me, is unacceptable. Installing iTunes (crap), syncing my iOS device (unnecessary), and individually viewing details for each app (tedious) is not an acceptable response to this issue. So until there's an actual fix and not this silly hack the issue is unresolved.

Wow, your attitude *****. It is not a kluge, it is a place where that information resides whether you like it or not. It is not a hack, it is a normal process that people who have some concept of how iTunes works, know. Get Info is commonly used in Apple Mac apps, like Photos and iTunes.

If you downloaded apps from two different Apple IDs then that is your problem. If you don't want to use the method that is available, then that also is your problem.

Get over it....
