hdmi audio support

I have a 2009 MacBook Pro. I bought a Moshi DPI to HDMI adapter and hooked it to the TV. No audio. I knew this may happen so I bought a 3.5 mm to Red/White RCA output and plugged it in the headphone jack on the MacBook and into the TV. Still no audio. Any ideas?

Nobody does anything anywhere. I guess there all preparing for next year?
