What to do about email with no sender?

I get email with no sender on my iPad only (not on my computer and not in webmail). There is no sender or no message, and it is dated 12/31/69. It will not delete. My ipad inbox is filled with this stuff now and I don't know what to do about it. I get 2 or 3 a day. Another post that I googled said they also had this but that it would delete. Mine will not, and this is getting to be a major problem.

I don't think I can set up a rule on the iPad to stop it. And, any rule that I set up on my iMac does not carry over to the iPad.

Get this:

http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC359LL/A?fnode=MTc0MjU4NjA&mco=MjEwMDgzMjQ

and use the Apple cable that came with your iPad with it. It is always nice having a spare charger (especially if you travel) and the long (optiona) power cord makes it great for charging.

If you are in warranty you should absolutely get that sleep switch looked at. Make sure to sync and get a current backup before you go.

I am taking the iPad in today to look at that power switch. I think there is something wrong with it. Sometimes it works very easily, but most times, it doesn't work at all. I am under warranty; I've only had the iPad a couple of weeks. So far, it's been a major headache; I'm hoping that changes.

Thanks for sending the link about the adapter...when I said above that I had found what I needed, that was it. But, I'm very glad to have that confirmed.

Why am I not seeing place to check off correct answer on these last responses?

I would agree with you, I've not had the problems you are having with it and neither has anyone else I know with an iPad save one. He took his in, it was defective, they replaced it. Get it fixed and I think you have cleared all the other major hurdles and life with the iPad will be good from here on in.

Glad you got that adapter you won't be sorry you did. If you do find a need to extend just the sync cable buy a good, heavily shielded USB extension cable. I've used one with mine and had no issues.

I'm off to buy an AirPrint Wireless printer for my office, if I have any problems with the setup I will give you a holler as I know that you've had experience in this area.

You only get one correct and two helpfuls per post and you've used them with the right person. Just knowing you are up and running is good enough but please do let us know how the switch problem resolves itself.

A gentle reminder before you go once again: make sure you have transferred all purchases and done a backup before you go because they won't fix the iPad they will replace it. When you get the replacement you will need to Restore it from backup.
