Can't login

Tried logging into the forum using my old Apple Id and got this:

We're sorry. Your account could not be created due to system issues.

Please contact Apple Support Communities with the information below to create your account."

I had to create a new Apple Id just to post this. Please help?

"Is my login to the forums separate from others on any other Apple sites, iTunes, etc?" shouldn't be unless you have inadvertantly created another Apple ID, it wont allow you to login until you have resolved the conficting email issues, one may not be verified?... However your issue is it is"Your Apple ID or password was entered incorrectly" then I think that is another matter, check what your login in is at iTunes and use the exact same, try your complete email address that you login with not the just appleID.

I also tried to login using just the name part of my @mac.com. Nothing works. I know this is crazy to keep on, but I really want to access my discussions and I shouldn't have to spend so much time. Apple should address this problem and never replied to me when they sent me their "solution" which was to login in to my apple account.

I too would like very much to use my @mac.com Apple ID on Apple Support Communities. I tried the new sign-in error page to see if it helped, but so far no good. I have three Apple IDs, one of which was connected to a dead email account. I fixed that and made sure that none of my IDs had overlapping email info, but that was not enough. As I had indicated in a previous email, the feedback that I received from a Support Communities moderator is that two of my Apple IDs have the same Support Communities username (ALF). So, I requested to change the username on my old account, leaving the 'ALF' name on my @mac.com account, but that was a couple of weeks ago.

I'm glad to see a little movement in ASC getting rid of that %^$#@! error form that sent you into a black hole, but the new form so far has not helped me either.

I remain amazed at how unsupportive Apple's moderators are in the Apple Support Communities. Clearly the 'Community' is mostly about users, and not the company.

Hi ALF, your 3 Apple ID's (accounts) need to have individual email address's.

@mac and @me are technically one of the same so don't separate them both will count as one, not two

for your 3 apple accounts, have @mac as your main email address, and @me as your alternate email address.

The other 2 apple accounts with unique apple ID's will need to have their own unique email address.

AND all need to be verified. Once they have been verified.

(I would delete all caches and cookies becasue that is the way I roll)

Then try to login with one account, Apple may ask for you to assign a user id, too make a unique apple user iD for each if you can (you wont be able to do this for the @mac and @me email address)

I'm sorry, but I already have done all of those things. Each of my three Apple IDs have their own unique email addresses, and I fully realize that @me and @mac are the same. None of the three accounts have ANY overlapping email addresses, and all addresses have been verified.

The problem is that I cannot change the Apple Support Communities user id, which is where I'm told the problem lies. Only Apple can do that for me.

I can sign into ASC with two of my Apple IDs, but not with the one that I use for everything else (my @mac ID). One of the two that I can sign in with is an ancient ID that I don't even remember creating; the other is one that I created for the purpose of signing into ASC. And by the way, it looks like once you creat an AppleID, it will be with you until the end of time as we know it; IDs cannot be destroyed.

I have an old account too. Apple told me to change the Password. Heres the problem. My old ID was my old email address. I cant receive mail at that address anymore, the address has been deleted. In order to reset the password you need to have the email working. Anyone ever seen the movie Catch 22?
