This might be a stupid question. Can I use the APPS I have on my iphone & they will cover the whole ipad screen?

Yes you can. But it will be pixelated in full screen mode. The experience won't be as good either.
No, it is totally separate from you phone bill, you will have to provide a credit card number and the plan will be renewed monthly unless you stop it.

this might be a stupod question, but when you sign up for 3G service does it begin right after you finish the process? Will the 14.99 plan be enough to check e-mail, surf the net & does playing "words with friends" game count as data?
Yes, it bills your Credit Card during the process. If you are not connected to WiFi it will count as data. There is a data usage calculator on the AT&T website, you can Google it to find it, but in my opinion the $14.95 plan is a waste of time. Go for the 2gig plan and if you subscribe to HBO at home download HBO GO and watch True Blood.
I don't have HBO. Can you add more data if you need it later on?

My rented movie wont sync. I downloaded the movie from itunes. Checked "sync" movies. They appear under the "rentel" tab in itunes but not in movies within the ipad. I also transfered it over to the ipad. It must be a setting I'm missing.
I found the movie under "videos". Why isn't it under "movies" LOL
I'm not able to log into settings to view my data. I set it up but can't view my data. It's Says invalid email address & pssword.
You really need to start new threads, or do a search, rather than just adding posts to this one.
Have you downloaded iBooks on your iPad yet? If so take the time to download the iPad manual and read it, it will answer a lot of the questions you have.
If you have set up you 3G account you are apparently using an incorrect user ID and password to access it.
