i did some animations in after effects, cuted a movie in final cut x, then did some corrections an overwrite the files with the new animation. dinal cut show the red collored icon, that the clips are modify in a other program, the hole animation effects, retiming an so on, i have to do it again. such a ****.
in the past there were just the relink and boom....
:-) but how they will do that, in the most cases they have an alternative? hope for an update maybe thats a bug. hopefully.
I got the modified file icon too, another app was taking a look at some of my movie files. Apparently they got changed somehow. Tried to import the originals again, but I just get duplicates.
I should be able to relink the files, against the better judgement of the program. I decide as a user what happens here, how can we use it in any workflow at all in this way. I should be able to say, use this modified file anyway!!!
