I have installed the latest Apple Epson printer file for my RX640 printer but am still getting this error which prevents printing
Error:/Library/Printers/EPSON/InkjetPrinter2/Filter/rastertoescpll.app/Contents/ MacOS/rastertoescpll failed
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
I just got off the phone with Epson Tech Support and they fixed the problem. I'm running a MacBook Pro 10.7.5 with Epson NX420 and got the error message about raester fail whatever that is.
They had me delete the printer driver files and then reload the printer driver from the Epson website for the NX420 set to OS X Lion 10.6.x instead of 10.7.x (which I'm running). Apparently there's a bug in the Epson driver update that gives a raester error. The previous driver for 10.6.x works fine. He said to ignore the popup window to upgrade or I'd have the same issue.
