Do I need a virus software for iPad2?

I also once had Norton on my Mac I am ashamed to say. It had corrupted my disks so badly that I was not able to recover them.

I called their support who told me that I was going to have to replace the disks. They said there was nothing else I could do according to them.

After hanging up on them for giving such bad information, I came here where I was told to try DiskWarrior. DW was able to fix all of my disks. The other users here were able to tell me how to remove all traces of Norton from my Mac.

Since then nothing from Symantec has enter my house.

Life has been much better since I did that.

I gave all of my Symantec CDs to the neighbor's kids to play with. I figure that was a better use for them rather then using them on computers.

You should have put them in the microwave for about 10 secs... they produce a nice light show. 😉

Can also blow the magnetron in the microware. I didn't want to give Symantecs any more then I already had given them, cretons.

Yeah, I know but I've done it dozens of times with no apparent damage. I also eat right before i go swimming. 😉

IMO, I don't think Norton "anything" should be on any computer. I hate their stuff.

That and Adobe Acrobat with its updater that runs all the time!!
