Scrambled screen

Ever since I've upgraded to OS X 10.6.8 I've been getting a scrambled screen and the Macbook Pro freezes.

I am not sure but it might be happening when I move- like across the room with the Macbook on. No, sudden movement or anything dramatic. But still this seems to happen. Take a look at the picture. I have to re-boot by pressing on the start key. What could be wrong. Are there any easy fixes or do I have to go to Apple Care?

I think I am at the point of asking for a replacement already. Yesterday was spent in identifying the problem for the service engineer. Because his digonastic kit couldn't find anything wrong. Finally got him to see what I am seeing. Airport has since stopped showing up. The service engineer has told me that it will be replaced in a couple of days as they don't have it in stock. So that is week 3 of truncated productivity.

Not so much a fan of Macbook pro any more.
