Can't login after Lion upgrade

I installed Lion on my MBP just fine this morning. Then I proceeded to upgrade my iMac and after the iMac install completed, I can't login to my iMac. I even tried SSH'ing into it and appears my local account isn't valid (either Lion wiped it or the password got munged). Anyone else with the same issue?

Just installed Lion on a MacBook Pro, which was running the latest Snow Leopard version.

Unfortunately for me neither resetting the password from the Snow Leopard Install CD nor from the Recovery HD of Lion works. I changed the passwords of all user accounts successfully but when trying to logon after reboot: no chance.

My Mac was assigned to windows domain. Maybe this is a problem? I upgraded my iMac without any issues...

Hi mjlmobile,

thanks! That seems to be the problem! I don´t use AdmitMac but Centrify. However, I just found the note that Centrify has to be upgraded first before upgrading Mac OS X.

Bad luck, since now I cannot install Snow Leopard again on the maschine without formatting the disk and setting everything up from scratch...

Thanks anyways for the hint!
