Upgraded to iTunes 10.4. Now my logitech MX1100 will not control iTunes anymore. Updated SetPoint. Did not fix. Any Ideas?

I have Window 7 64-bit - all the latest updates/service packs. Updated to SetPoint 6.30.41 (latest on Logictech website). Does anyone have any more suggestions? Before the iTunes update, I could use the buttons on the mouse to control Next, Previous song and play/pause. Now they do not work. Thanks

I was having the same problem with making the changes to the file. I copied the information from the original players.ini file and pasted it into a new notepad (that I had opened as an administrator). I made the suggested changes and then saved that new file to my desktop (saving it as players.ini). I then dragged the new file from my desktop into the Setpoint P file. the computer will ask you if you want to replace the existing file. say yes. I hope that helps.

Thank you so much for posting this! I bought my K750 exclusively so that I would have these media keys, so you can imagine my disappointment when they didn't work .... Too bad that Logitech wasn't able to give us this information.

I backed up the original players.ini file of course, but one thing I don't know is if or at what point I should restore that. Next Setpoint update? Next iTunes update? Anyone got any ideas?

You are BRILLIANT! Thank you a million times. You have no idea how many blogs, sites who tout themselves as "experts", etc., etc. I have visited ever since 10.4 came out and tried out their non-solutions. BTW, I did uninstall iTunes 10.4 and installed an earlier version...that worked fine as far as the installation went...except...it would not open my library because, of course, it was made with a newer version if iTunes!

Congratulations...Apple should dump some $$ on you for this one.😎
