NTFS drive does not mount under Lion.

I have just upgraded to Lion. Previously I could mount my NTFS formatted drives. Now I cannot mount any. Disk utility sees the drives but will not mount them. When I revert to 10.6.8, the problems disappear. If there a fix of technique in LION to enable NTFS drives to mount?

Oh jeeeez! One thing leads to another :S

I haven't try sharing the NTFS drive... Well, since I usually don't do that. But.. omg, this is crazy...

You know? for what I've seen, lots of people are having different kinds of bugs, I think Apple might release an update soon... If we're lucky we might get a solution for all of this issues...

Hi guys!

I have a similiar problem with Paragon NTFS v9.0 but the instructions doesn´t work for me :/

I had Paragon V8 installed on Snow Leopard and upgraded to Lion. I uninstalled Paragon V8 and installed Paragon V9. It doesn´t work.

I tried to uninstall V9 again and looked for the ufsd.fs , but I can´t find it. So I have a probleme because the workaround doesn´t work for me.

I hope you have any tips...

Thanks in advance!

Ok I really tried everything...

How could you guys find ufsd.fs ?

Besides when I try to uninstall my Macfuse 2.1.9 it doesn´t work. The uninstaller in the pref pane doesn´t work.

Any suggestions??

I installed Paragon V9.0.1 and Macfuse 2.1.9 but doesn´t change anything....

If really nothing works I guess I have to go back to Snow Leopard with my Time machine backup....but actually I don´t want to :/

Thanks for all suggestions!

MacFUSE uninstall that way, you need to remove the preference panel after you uninstall, to do that just right click on MacFUSE panel preference icon and remove it.

Now, to delete ufsd.fs file you need to open finder, then click on your home folder (your username in the left panel) then on the top of finder click the third icon from right to left, click on Macintosh HD (or the name you use for your hardrive) then go to System (or "Sistema" if your language is set to spanish) then Library, then Filesystems and then just delete the file ufsd.fs
