xcode 4.1 installation alert stuck, like forever, on Lion

OK! now I had finished install Xcode 4.1 ! but then come up some other stuff ! when i enter xcode 4.1 , I can't find InterfaceBuilder ! so i can't make OutLets and Action all those connection can anyone tell me -> where to turn on the interface builder thanks !

The easiest way to get rid of it:

Once it appears open Activity Monitor (from Applications > Utilities)

Kill the iTunesHelper process.

Installation of Xcode should continue after that (the alert disappears too).

Thanks all.. Had the same problem, was quiting the xcode itself and went back to same error. Now killed ituneshelper and installation was completed.

I have a bug killing the iTuneshelper whatsoever..

if you killed it and open your iDevice it will require you to reinstall iTunes..

You can also use the application What's Keeping Me to kill it.

i had to quit the ituneshelper and alertall (the window itself) this did the trick

Hi, I have latest imac and cannot get rid of installation Alert (iTunes). this is all new to me therefore go slow.

Hi - had same problem and found this thread, then checked out Activity Monitor and saw that both my alerts (iPhoto and iTunes) were active on another user account (my daughters). So logged on her account, quitted the two apps, logged out/back into mine and all gone.
