Magic Mouse Cursor Jumping to Corners after Lion update?

Subject says it all. Using the mouse normally and randomly on movement the cursor will jump to the corners of the screen. Triggering your hot corners if you have them set up.

I know other people have seen the issue. Wondering if anyone has a solution or a reason behind this? I'm currently running a Quad 27" iMac with wired Keyboard, Magic Mouse, on Lion. But some people have seen it with MBPro as well... It has nothing to do the trackpad or what surface the mouse is being used on. Never had this problem with Snow Leopard. Something in Lion. Any ideas???

Sorry to resurrect such an old topic. I've been searching everywhere trying to find a resolution to this. So far I've:

I have a late 2011 15" i7 Macbook Pro with a magic mouse OS X 10.10.4

Deleted my mouse preference library files

Deleted sys preference library files

Reset the Pram

Tried without

uninstalled magicprefs

Tried without the magic mouse connected and just using the touchpad

Disabled hot corners

No dice. Still keeps randomly jumping to the bottom right corner of my screen

The crazy thing is it was working fine all morning then when I came into work and set it up on my desk it started doing this. I can't remember it ever doing this.

Did anyone ever find a solution?

EDIT:

I kind of answered my own question. After digging around I found out that sometimes third party chargers can affect the trackpad. I bought a cheap 3rd party power adapter to leave at my office so I didn't need to haul my apple one back and forth. I've had it for about 6 months. Anyway I unplugged it and I have yet to experience the cursor jump. Time to buy an apple charger I guess.

I've had a similar problem. Whenever the mouse would touch the table, the arrow would jump to the upper left corner. I ended up fixing it unpluging my external monitor as well as everything else I had plugged by USB, cleaned all the ports connected the mouse, verified that it worked properly and only then I connected the other pheriperials.

This fixed my problem. Hope it can be helpfull…
