Weird Maximize behavior with taskbar on top

Honestly, I'm not sure where to post this.

I am running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. I keep my taskbar on the top.

I have a few programs that don't seem to know that my task bar is on top (2 that I know of - iTunes 10.4 64bit and Freemake). So when I maximize them there is a gap on the bottom where it thinks the taskbar is and the top of the window is underneath my taskbar.

I'm sure there are other programs that do this.

I'm not sure why it is doing this?

I too am having this same issue with the taskbar auto-hide.

Win 7 pro (64bit).

Would love to get the fix.

the issue is parallels tools once i uninstalled it it stopped doing it for me the lastet one seems to be doing it, thought this may help.

I still have the same problem too. The taskbar does not come out from hiding when on the left side of the screen. just about a fresh install of windows 7 home premium x64 running itunes v10.5.2.11
