Has anyone else experienced Dashcode crashing with Lion and if so, have you found a fix?

Yeah I am having the same problem. I believe it's because you have to upgrade the Xcode developer tools in the Mac App Store as well once you install Lion. I am downloading Xcode 4.1 right now and will let you know what happens.
That's my thought as well. I started downloading Xcode 4.1 right after I made the post. It's 2+GB. The download is about halfway done now. I'll publish my results when it's complete.
Your right it was a huge file but I just got it downloaded and installed. I launched dashcode the first time and it crashed trying to open one of my projects (probably cause I clicked restore previous windows) but when I launched it again it worked fine. Hope it works the same for you.
I upgraded to Lion and also installed the new developer tools. Unfortunately, the problem still exists with Dashcode beach balling after start up.
* I checked disk permissions (all fixed, but no difference to dashcode not responding).
* I reinstalled the developer tools (still didn't fix it).
The only thing that I have not done at this point is to perform a clean deinstall of the developer tools
and reinstall from there. If that doesn't work then I will be looking for further assistance from the forum 🙂

Installing Xcode 4.1 fixed the Dashcode crash problem for me.
After downloading Xcode from the Mac App Store, I ran the install from Launchpad. Once the installation was complete, I restart the computer. After the computer boot up, I opened Dashcode without incedent. Happy days!

Ok, I have looked to make a clean uninstall of the devtools package to make sure there is nothing that could be interfering with the execution of Dashcode. I ran the following command and after it completed, I performed a reboot on the system.
sudo /Developer/Library/uninstall-devtools -mode=all
This does not fix the problem. I still have dashcode "not responding", when I'm trying to run the program.
Any other thoughts?
Adding a new user and running dashcode in the new users context works for me. But this is only a workaround. Any thoughts about what preference files etc. need to be deleted in the old users profile to fix this problem?
I went to the Mac App Store and clicked to install the 4.1 Xcode. After a long time it said it was done, and it now reads "installed". But when I go to my Developer folder the old version of Xcode still shows up (4.0.2). When I now launch it, it errors out saying that it needs Snow Leopard.
*** Apple! Wasn't Lion supposed to be easier?
I can't find a single icon to click to update the app.
Any suggestions?
Dashcode tries to access the iPhoto library. Repair the iPhoto library fixed the problem for me.

ℹ I used the 'option' + 'command' and held them down to start the iPhoto application.
The options I chose were rebuild:
Once this is complete, you should be able to run the Dashcode application successfully.

Thanks! Totally worked for me. Re-built iPhoto stuff (I chose everything) and Dashcode launched smoothly. Note: My Xcode was a fresh install (4.1) from developer.apple.com
