where did you find that update for network space 2?

FOUND IT.

Everyone, open your Dashboard for your Network Space 2 and goto the support page, hit check for updates and it should automatically download.

Looks like LaCie hasn't posted it to their website yet.

I just install it and then try the backup...

indeed via the networkspace > http://<yourIP.address.> >> support >>> check update >> voila!!

First timemachine is going to verify his backups;-)

(when you can not connect setyour password again under users (of the lacie)

Also you can connect towards the lacie via AFP://<your.ip.address>

remember to check for updates on regular basis ;-)

Just got mine updated - took awhile to download and install - then about 30 minutes to reboot. New option for SFTP added. Multimedia is still nto working for me - but I suspect there is something about the tons of files I put on there it doesn't like.

Had one small issue connecting the first system to it with an error nmessage about an id number - but seems to be working now.

Still thinking that I will get a new Mac Mini Server and a Pegasus R12 and wipe out the Network Space device and move it to another location.

(not sure why I cannot edit previous)

Also added an https: option for login to the web interface.
