Tabs Refresh Automatically in Safari 5.1?

Why do tabs automatically refresh in Safari 5.1?

Try this: Have at least ten websites in different tabs in the same window. Go to "Reset Safari..." in the "Safari" menu. Uncheck the "Close all Safari windows" and then click "Reset". What the **** Apple.

Also, the spinning beach ball of death does not appear when I move the mouse to the bookmark bars or toolbar. Why?

This issue had me crazy about 6 months i talked to a Apple Specialist at Cuppertino and he explained the reasons. You just open Safari, go to "Safari" next to the apple logo, then click "preferences" you will see a Database storage option, is the last one as default shows 5 MB, and if you are using the facebook or gmail, thos heavy websites is going to crash so you just change to 100mb or more in that option.

If it doesnt work... Try to re install flashplayer, shockwave and update Java.

That makes some sense Carlosmafud, as I can see it's Facebook that is driving up the RAM usage. No matter how many or few windows I have open, soon as I open FB, the web content almost TRIPLES, and the RAM & CPU usage jumps way up as well. I sometimes just close FB, then remove cache, and open it again, instead of waiting till web content refreshes all my windows.

I set the Database Storage up to 100MB, and will see how that works. Odd that it only goes from 100 to 500, with nothing in between, or a "custom setting" feature to make it say 200 or 300...
