bluetooth problem in Lion OSX

after installing Lion OS X, i'm facing a problem in my bluetooth mouse everytime i put my MBP into sleep mode, the only way to make it work again is to turn bluetooth off then on, is it a bug or just in my device 😟

Potential FIX. My magic mouse was not connecting after my late 2008 macbook (10.7 Lion) would come back from sleep.

I went to bluetooth preferences, removed my bluetooth devices, and repaired them.

Problem has not recurred. I hope this works for others.

You could get this from the Apple Support section for downloads, but the easiest way to get ALL updates appropriate for your secific computer is to left-click on the "apple" in the upper left corner of the screen. Then click on "Software Update". If there is an update (again specific for your computer) it will automatically download and ininstall it. If no firmware update installs then there is no firmware update you need and your solution is something else.

Not sure if this fix has already been suggested but I found resetting PRAM did the trick.

Resetting PRAM and NVRAM

  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
  3. Turn on the computer.
  4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
  5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
  6. Release the keys.

So I guess I'm coming late here but my beloved MacBook C2D late 2007 is having the same BT problems here listed. Tried everything suggested - twice - and no success. Since I used to have the MB cabled to my LCD TV in the living room I just need the BT to be working with my Apple Wireless Keyboard and Trackpad. Nothing. Shall we wait until Mountain Lion 10.8 to get this bug fixed? Or get an Apple TV, I guess...? Disappointing lack of official support here.
