Recently upgraded to Lion from Snow Leopard. The sims 3 was running fine on Snow Leapord but not seems to crash and not work at all on Lion. Any ideas why?

i dont play the sims but i was looking into this for someone else. they had a problem with the graphics. the sims were glitchy up close. if you dont want to wait for the official release of 10.7.3 then i can tell you that there are leaked update files out there and it shouldnt be hard to find at all

So I want a macbook that says it has "Intel HD graphics 3000". Will the sims 3 work on this?
Completely crap, I'm running 10.7.3, the game still doesn't work with the 9400M, not only that, but now the 9600M is having problems as well. Good to know that EA supports their games so well.
What sort of problem do you have with the game and 9400m? I have a plain macbook with the 9400m, I have updated the game, back on September 1, 2011. After downloading that update the game would no longer lock up. And I have 10.7.3. I don't know if 10.7.3 actually fixes the game or not since I never tested that out.
Updated to Lion and now The Sims 3 freezes. Any ideas?
