Upgrade to Lion Broke Superdrive

Community,

I have upgraded from Snow Leapord to Lion on my MacBook Pro, but once I finished the upgrade I went to burn in Toast, iTunes and Wave Burner they all indicate my SuperDrive is busy. I also get the same indication from Disk Utility... Any thoughts on this or has anyone else ran into this issue!?

Take Care,

Chris

It may be too late for most of you.

The fact is that the solutions proposed in this discussion to that old issue of the SuperDrive still look ingenuously naive. None actually worked – from risking your system sanity entering the Terminal to catching and destroying the Bad Preference Files (unexisting for most of us), to other creative solutions.

Now, nothing was easier than fixing the old poor SuperDirve when you focus on the real mechanic/optical world of the machine inside your Mac.

Thanks to the savvy advise of someone in MacWorld, we better clean our marbles before going for an eye surgery apocalipse!
