Hello, after updating to Safari 5.1, I cant open any page.. I type the adress and it keeps loading but nothing happens.. Before updating everything worked great, so im sure its this version, i uninstalled it, dowloaded again from apple site 5.1 version, installed it, but nothing changed.. Please help (Im Windows XP user)

I restored my PC days ago, cuz I couldn't solve Safari 5.1 issue. Today, Quicktime 7.7 ruined my PC again. I believe QT7.7 has the same issue, and after installing QT 7.7, iTunes Store is blank, but the connection is still there. I really don't know ho w to fix this, so I restored my PC again. This *****!

I downgraded version by version until I got to 4.0 and they all have the same problem now. Thanks to Safari 5.1, I can't use any version of Safari anymore. Thank you Apple for that. Safari used to be my favorite browser but now it's just a piece of trash.

1. Delete all codecs, which put extra.
2. Uninstall iTunes and QuickTime
3. Restart the computer.
4. Install QuickTime and iTunes.
The same happened to me. I'm running Lion in a late 2010 MacBook Pro. Can't open basically the NYtimes and FT.com, but sometime I also have problems with cultofmac.com and the site for The Guardian.
I got some temporarilly sollution after installing ad block, but it does not always work.
There is an option in safari to tell apple when safari does not work correctly, let send them thousands of those messages, so they pay attention to us.
The same happens to me with my MacBook pro.
This was the solution to all my problems.
