Hi,
Same here ... what I did is that I moved ALL un-installers to a NEW folder and moved out of the Application folder to a other place where they don't showup anymore in Launchpad.

Unfortunately you can't remove non App Store apps with the key combo.
However, you can use this simple app to remove any apps from launchpad: LaunchpadCleaner
Thanks! It works.

This is the best!! Thanks for this. A problem that had been annoying me for quite some time simply resolved. Donate for sure!
Bingo!
@shaunK
I had a similar problem as the poster and your solution has worked for me
Thanks :-D
I don't get shaunK's method at all. If I hold down the 3 keys - the same as click and hold on an icon - the icons start to wobble as per iOS, then a red X appears on MAS apps only. It is not possible to remove non-MAS apps by this method.
What additional steps are you guys doing?
If the apps is from App Store, press Option button and you can see a small X over the icon. You can then click the icon to remove it from launchpad but it may uninstall it. Simply click install in App Store to recover it.
If the apps is not from App Store and the above method should not work, now press Control+Option+Command button and click the icon. The app will not launch and instead, a ? sign is shown over the icon. Then release the 3 combo buttons and press Option button only at this moment. You will see a small X over the icon. Next, click on the icon to remove it.
