Regular Expose in Lion

Does anyone know how to fix expose in Lion to show all windows? (like it did in version 10.6 - through version "the dawn of time")

What I would prefer is a terminal code to make this the default behavior for expose for all users under all circumstances.

Anyone?

Another moron that doesn't understand the problem. No this doesn't solive a **** thing. It only shows "all windows" for applications. Expose had an "all windows" feature regardless of the application. I can show all windows of the application I've selected in Lion. That's obvoius already.

There wouldn't be this long-*** thread with 8-pages if it was that simple. Like I told the other moron who doesn't understand the problem. Don't think that this many people are just simply overlooking a solution. They're not. They are looking for "All Windows" and Spaces as we had them in Snow Leopard.

That means if I got to a hot corner, it shows me every single window open. Not just every window in the application I have selected. So please if you are a moron, just don't post in this thread. Because then I have to waste my clicking some link of another moron who doesn't have the mental capacity to even understand what the problem is. Thanks for trying, but you need to learn how to read.

Before calling someone a moron why don't you ****ing read. As I stated in my opening comment "Although the following link does not give us expose back as we knew it, it sure helps me during my day to day."

I'm fully aware the link does not fix the issue of how Expose worked in SL. I too want it fixed, I was simply sharing something I found to help my in my day-to-day.

Hi duosx,

I remember you from another thread regarding Exposé and Spaces, where you were recommending ReSpace. At this point in their development, which do you recommend more, and why? ReSpace or TotalSpaces? At first glance, TotalSpaces seems to have more visual polish. But how are their performance (recall one of my main gripes with MC is how slow it launches & animates).

fyi..... this is by far the biggest problem Lion has. With Exposé and Spaces fixed... I'd have nothing to complain about....

Thanks so much,

Brandon

Expose + Spaces was such a brilliant workflow. Then some jack*** at Apple decided he wanted to do it differently, so they force this new crap on us. It's completely ridiculous to not make it an option to use Expose + Spaces.

In Snow Leopard, I press fn + F3 and IMMEDIATELY, I see every single window I have open. Super fast, I got into a great rhythm with it.

With Lion, I press F3 and I can see every window open. But...

If I have windows open in another Desktop, all I see is a small, unexpanded thumbnail of that desktop. Cycling through 10 desktops is a pain. Sure if you had 10 desktops with Spaces, they previews were small, but MUCH larger than Mission Control.

If I have more then 3 windows open for a certain application, I just see a stack of windows. This doesn't help me. At all.

I know I can expose the application windows, or expand the stack, but its just another annoying step I don't want to have to deal with.

My biggest point: Expose + Spaces became like a reflex, and I hardly had to think about it. Mission Control is close to the same thing, but the little differences make for headaches, and take me out of my workflow.

I'm on Mountain Lion, and will probably bail on Apple after this laptop. Their mentality of "we will tell you the best way to work, and you'll do what we say" is just pathetic and frustrating.
