can anyone tell me where is iSync in Lion (OS X 10.7) ... ????
or there is any good alternate. ????

Second that. Have several devices need syncing. Used isync for years and it had never failed me.
thanks all, i just copied it from friend's mac (dont have to reinstall 10.6 again). and its working smoother..... dont know what was the reason behind dis-continue of this app. forcing iCould up ???

I didn't have my time machine for OX 10.6 😟

iSync is the only way i have to sync my Nokia N97 Contacts with mac
working more smoother than expected 🙂
unzip the file and try to just run it, should work fine 🙂
Copy iSync from Snow Leopard and add it to Lion, it works fine, a copy from Tiger won't work.
I miss SnowLeopard and i Sync too (my Nokia 6630, very old and very good, was perfect with i Sync)
The story: I installed Lion some days ago and found no iSync. So I got it from my son's mac, which runs SnowLeopard. So... i Sync on Lion can sync adressbook but cannot sync calendars. On the appstore I found some app (about 15 and 30€) but users comments are not that happy.
Sure you can sync cals smoothly?

so far iSync the Snow Leopard one (last release by apple) works for me. i can sync easily everything i used Nokia's iSync Plugin. with my Nokia N97
smooth. 🙂
thanks to mahiyabz I can also sync everything, with my Nokia 5800
I upgraded to Lion, and I am using latest version of iSync, from a previous OS X

thank you for your reply, but let me ask one last question: did you change of add something in your cals using Lion's iCal before synchronizing them to the Nokia? I.e., where the cals created by Lion's or Snowleopard's iCal?

hey, you have nothing to do special
download iSync
download Nokia's iSync Plugin from here
http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/isync/compatibility-and-download
select your specific phone and download and install that plugin
once done open up iSync add your phone via bluetooth... see the screen below no special configuration required, nokia plugin plays things nicely.
