Safari 5.1 breaks Citrix

After installing Safari 5.1 my Citrix plugin stopped working. Restoring Safari 5.0 fixed it. Is there any way to get Safari 5.1 and Citrix?

I'm maxed out on Snow leopard on my Intel Core duo macbook, which will not handle 64 bit apps.

A new version called Citrix Receiver was just released by Citrix which is supposed to have all functions of prior web plugins. I thought this might solve the problem with Safari but when I downloaded the DMG file from Citrix site it would not open. I got an error message that the application needed to open the dmg file is not found??? Install instructions say to uninstall all prior versions of citrix software which I did prior to trying to install it but still the dmg did not work. Possible problem with Citrix downlaod site??? So far can't tell if Citrix Receiver solves the Safari issue. Has anyone else been able to download and install Citrix Receiver???
