Upgrading is so Degrading

I upgraded my iMac, MBP and Mac mini to Lion and the performance has degraded on all of them. So far, I have yet to find a single benefit in having done the upgrade. Here's what I have so far:

-Sluggish apps

-Degraded graphics performance

-Degraded network performance

-Degraded streaming

-Intermittent HDMI blackouts on the mini

-Random resizing of iTunes on the mini's desktop

-Disappearing scroll bars

-Too many Safari glitches

Someone please tell me, what works better in Lion than in Snow Leopard?

Nonetheless, I am experiencing problems to one degree or another on the three Macs I have upgraded as I described. The problems with the Mac mini, in particular, are extremely annoying.

Those of you who keep posting comments along the lines of, "I have no problems so that means that you don't either," are simply not being helpful. No one has posted any specific information about anything that is supposedly working better.

Based on my own experiences thus far, I see no compelling reason to upgrade to Lion unless you are specifically interested in the changes to the GUI. Whatever performance improvements there may be relative to Snow Leopard, they are negligable at best.

The rate at which this forum is accumulating new posts regarding various problems with the upgrade should be enough to clue you in.

What would be useful is to know how your installation differed from "Those of you" etc, the fact that we are having no problems suggests a problem either with methodology or hardware, you aren't supplying any information regarding that.

Would it be meaningful if I told you that I've upgraded a 2007 iMac, a 2008 MBP and a 2010 Mac mini? What methodology or hardware issue would cause problems on my Macs (and the Macs of countless others who have reported problems in this forum) but not on yours? Might it be the OS upgrade itself?

First, weighed against the million or so users with no problems the dozens (maybe hundreds) of posters here doesn't even reach .1%

It seems that rather than provide information all you want to do is argue and postulate,

You simply don't know what the statistics are and I seriously doubt that you have a noticeable improvement in performance on your Macs since upgrading even if you haven't noticed any specific problems.

My Mac mini, which has performed flawlessly since I bought it late last year, crashes consistently every time I switch away from its input on my A/V amp since the Lion upgrade. It won't restart unless I reset the SMC. I'm at my wits end with it, I'm going to re-install Snow Leopard tomorrow. Is that still not enough information for you?
