How to remove icons from Launchpad that do not have "X"
Pretty straight forward question,
If there is no "X", how do I remove the Icon without removing the application?

Drag to garbage.
This solved my problem. Removing an application without "X" from Launchpad...

First drag icon to Dock.
Then right click the icon on Dock, and select "show in Finder" or something similar.
Delete the file in Finder.
Done. The icon will be removed in Launchpad. 🙂
Empty trash and voila the 'x' appears now 😉
This helped me find Chrome-apps! - And my launchpad is now free of multiple chrome-apps!!!
This worked flawlessly, super easy, and probably the best way to clean up Launchpad. THANK YOU!
Awesome, thanks to rewolfgz!
