Can Desktops Have Names Assigned in Lion?

Someone posted a screen shot of Mission Control with each Desktop along the top showing a name underneath. How does one assign a unique name to each Desktop, like Mail, Safari, Terminal, etc.? How does one show the names in Mission Control?

Mac OS X (10.7), iMacs, MacBook, and iPhone 4

You can customize a photo with a name added and assign a different background photo to each new desktop.

Lion allows you to set a different desktop picture in each space.

All you need to do is open System Preferences in the first space whose desktop you want to change, open Desktop & Screen Saver, and select a picture.

Then enter Mission Control, drag System Preferences to another space, and go to it. Change the desktop picture here, and you'll find it only affects the current space. And these changes are maintained between restarts, even if you choose not to reopen windows when logging back in.

Good question...

As soon as you start using Mission Control for multiple "spaces", thats the first thing you think of - how do I name each one? Desktop 1, Desktop 2 etc ain't cutting it (looks like a quick solution to something that was taking more time than they thought it would)

For my work, I like to organise each current Project/Client I'm working on in a separate "space" so that I don't have endless number of apps and docs open on same screen. This solution is pretty good but I'm sure it could be improved - naming each one being a good start.

The Prefs panel ain't up to much either.
