Boot Camp 4.0 Network Problems

I have just upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion. Not many issues but this is i can't work around.

When I try to run Boot Camp in order to install a Windows Xp I get the Below error saying :

"Can't install Windows Support Software because you are not connected to the Internet."User uploaded file

My Internet connection is stable and good , I have tried this with/without a cable and neither worked.

All other apple applications I have tested register an Internet connection.

Hopefully someone might know a fix 🙂

Thanks in advance

I have a Mid 2009, 13" Macbook,2.13GHz Intel C2duo with 4Gb RAM.

This is what worked for me (thanks to everyone who contributed to the fix):

- Connected my MBP to Ethernet (I suspect this will work for wireless as well)

- Opened Network / Ethernet / Advanced

- Clicked Proxies Tab & UNCLICKED all proxy settings

- Shut down Boot Camp Assistant

- Restarted Boot Camp Assistant

Download began without a hitch this time.

Hey Guys Im still having this issue on my late 2011 MacBook Pro 2.2 Quad 6750 512mb and Auto proxy discovery is unchecked and ive tried checking and unchecking this option.

The "downloading windows support software" hangs around 30% and then says a network error message. It's proving a little bit frustrating and the direct download doesnt seem to hold the latest graphics drivers for the ATI 6750 512

Any other ideas?
