Boot Camp 4.0 Network Problems

I have just upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion. Not many issues but this is i can't work around.

When I try to run Boot Camp in order to install a Windows Xp I get the Below error saying :

"Can't install Windows Support Software because you are not connected to the Internet."User uploaded file

My Internet connection is stable and good , I have tried this with/without a cable and neither worked.

All other apple applications I have tested register an Internet connection.

Hopefully someone might know a fix 🙂

Thanks in advance

I have a Mid 2009, 13" Macbook,2.13GHz Intel C2duo with 4Gb RAM.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7)

fore those who dont know how to chekc their mac version/model, here is the way,

click on the apple sign left up corner->About This Mac->More Info...->System Report

you will get this window User uploaded filein green box is you model of mac , you should download from the specific link for that version! good luck 🙂 why you should download specific file for specific version of mac, becous other version during the instalation will give this problem "this boot camp assistance is not compatable with you system version" or something lake that cant remember the exact words

There is only one official way to get the Bootcamp support software and that is from Apple. Personally I would not download and install Apple software unless it came from an Apple authorized site. I'm sure you can fine unauthorized distribution from many places such as toorent or other sites such as that posted, but be cautious.
