Cannot Adjust Text! Please Help

Just wondering. Why is it that I cannot adjust text and titles that I add into my video? Be it to resize or to change its position. When I double click my text on the viewer, I am able to see the circle but no matter how many times I click or drag it, my text will not move. I noticed that the cursor does not change into a hand as well. The same goes when resizing, there is the boxes at the corner, but I cannot click and drag it. Please help. I suspect that this problem appeared only in OS X 10.7 Lion.

The help file says that when you click on a text item, that a circle appears on the text. You are supposed to click and drag on this to move the text around the screen. This does not happen, I click, double click, press other buttons and click and nothing happens. The text does not mvoe.

Ya that is the fella.

I am not on the Mac at the moment so not sure what version it is. But I only downloaded it about 10 days or so i think. I check it when I am home and update if so.

FCP X 10.1 fixes this problem!! But be careful when updating projects from any external harddrive during the transition!
