iTunes Store not loading on iTunes.

Hey Guys. I've been using iTunes for a very long time and for some reason out of the blue the iTunes store won't load. it gets halfway on the loading bar and stops and does NOTHING. No error messages, no warnings it just won't load. I tried uninstalling everything, deleting all the files, I even just upgraded to windows 7 ultimate from Vista and it STILL will not work. It works fine on my Dad's and sisters Computers. Any help would be great!

Try resetting Winsock, it looks like it worked for quite a few people in this thread -> With iTunes 10.4 I can access iTunes store.

MTG68 wrote - In windows 7, click on your start menu, go to accessories, right click on the command prompt icon and choose "run as administrator". Once it opens, type in the following command...

netsh winsock reset

hit enter and it should say something like winsock reset successful now reboot your computer.

If that doesn't work, try uninstalling Safari, QuickTime, and iTunes (along with related components). Then just reinstall the latest version of iTunes, without installing downloading and installing Safari or QuickTime seperately.

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit and I've been unable to load the iTunes store and unable to use Safari. I tried reinstalling both programs, disabled plugins, etc., and nothing worked. Finally, I tried the "netsh winsock reset" solution as listed above. Worked like a charm. Brilliant!

Thank you MTG68!

okay, get the free software, Advanced System Care( yeah that's the name), it does many magical things but what you have to do is, get the free version,

here is the link,:
http://www.iobit.com/advancedsystemcareper.html

and now download and install the software, after installation, open the toolbox( a part of the software, you will see it clearly), and then go to "Repair", then go to "WinFix", and then from there, go to "Advanced Fix", and from there go to , "IE", and from their scroll down to- Reset Internet Connection Or Repair TCP/IP to default state.....

I hope this works, because the netsh winsock reset didnt work for you, and yes if you don't getwhat to do, don't worry, tell me, I will make the next post with images....and if this does work, please hit me up...... I think it will work, because the software is highly acknowledged, and it says it will reset the TCP/IP, please bro, if it works, tell me(by replyin to this post).....and this goes to everyone for whom this helps......

well, you know what actually happens is that when a software accesses the internet from your PC, and then you remove it, it may leave its processes, in your PC, i.e., the Winsock... when winsock is reset(as it was) everything comes back to default state, and you have a clean Winsock, and this does not make a problem with any of the other softwares...that use the internet, as they will again put their files in the winsock, and yes remember not to clean Winsock, after every uninstallation, as windows as an OS, just likes a little bit of tickling, not a lot....hope this helps...if it does please reply to this post.......it would encourage to keep up on this community....
