I was having issues with wifi connectivity to my Time Capsule since upgrading to Lion. I've narrowed down the scenario to having my Macbook go to sleep when Time Machine is backing up. When I later resume, my wifi connection is dead and I have to disable/reenable to connect to the Time Capsule.

Yes, it does. I've been using the developer build of 10.7.2 for a few weeks (under NDA, of course, so I've been maintaining radio silence on this thread), and it's been working fine. So, run that Software Update if you haven't already!
Confirmed. The problem is solved with 10.7.2 update.

So just a follow on as the starter of the thread, 10.7.2 appears to have Time Machine back to it's late Snow Leopard self 🙂
Yep, fixed for me too.
I am running a mid-2011 MBA with Lion pre-installed and this only started happening for me after I installed 10.7.2!
Is there a official fix for this?

The problem has been resolved by Apple now. Are you keeping your machine fully upgraded?
